Frequently Asked Questions
For Interior Designers
Designers can apply by uploading a valid business license, a link to their professional website or instagram, or a resale certificate. Once verified (usually within 24-48 hours), "Trade Prices" will automatically appear on eligible listings.
This is a core perk of the Sunday Morning community. Sellers have the option to list high-demand items for 48 hours exclusively for Designers before they are opened to the general public.
If you need a custom-built piece or a specific modification to an existing antique (like custom upholstery or refinishing), you can submit a Commission Request to your vendor of choice. This sends your specifications to the vendor who can provide quotes and timelines for your project.
If you are sourcing a specific piece for a client (e.g., "A 19th-century French Oak Refectory Table"), you can post a "Request" on the Bidding Board. Our network of dealers will then "bid" by submitting their portfolio and details on how they can create what you need.
Everything is centralized in your Dashboard. Select menu and then "dashboard", you can view the status of every open bid/ commission, start a new bid, and approve bid quotes in one place.
Absolutely. You can "Save" any item to save it to your private boards.
For "Investment Grade" pieces, you can request a Certificate of Authenticity or provenance documents directly from the seller via the secure messaging portal.
Yes. We understand that designers often have "held" inventory or custom pieces from previous projects. As a Designer, you have full seller capabilities to list items, manage inquiries, and track sales through your dedicated dashboard.
We invite our Trade members to submit articles, "Designer Advertising," or project reveal stories to be featured in The Collective. This is a powerful way to advertise your firm to our audience. Submissions can be made via the "dashboard" tab in your menu options and from there go to "growth tools". All articles are subject to review by our curation team.
Absolutely. If you want to promote your profile/design business, you can purchase a Spotlight Feature. This places your profile on The Collective page for one week, ensuring maximum visibility to buyers and other trade professionals.
For Sellers
Sunday Morning is a subscription-based platform/lead-generation tool. We do not take a percentage of your sales; we simply connect you with buyers and industry professionals.
You can upgrade your membership tier at any time or purchase an "Extra Listing" pack from your Growth Tools. Note that extra listing credits expire after 35 days if not used.
When a designer posts a request on the Bidding Board, you can hit "bid now" and submit all your details to be considered for the project. Let the seller know how much you would charge, direct them to your portfolio and how long it would take.
Your dashboard allows for individual listing management. You can edit listing and mark items as "Available" or "Sold." Keeping your status updated ensures you maintain a high "Seller Reliability" score. You can boost your listing from this place as well.
While you cannot see individual user names for privacy reasons, your dashboard provides Insights on how many people have saved your items. This helps you understand which pieces are currently trending in the trade.
There are two tiers of analytics available based on your subscription package. Tier one can view total listing views, total shop views, “save” count, inquiry count, and top performing items. Tier two can view everything in tier one with the addition of conversion signal rate, boost performance tracking, designer vs public traffic, category benchmarking, recently viewed insights, follower growth.
Spotlight spots are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you purchase a spot for a specific week, our system automatically pulls your Profile Card (Photo and Name) into a carousel on The Collective. We recommend ensuring your profile photo is high-resolution before your feature week begins.
Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the seller.
Sellers are responsible for having the item ready for pickup. We partner with GoShare for local moves. The buyer pays for shipping at checkout and delivery is scheduled right away.
Payments are processed through Stripe. Funds are typically released to your linked bank account 72 hours after the buyer confirms receipt of the item.
To apply for a verification badge, head to your dashboard and open Growth Tools. From there, select the badge you’d like to apply for and choose the listing it applies to. You’ll then be prompted to upload a few details and supporting materials so we can review your item. This may include photos, descriptions of the piece, and any documentation that helps confirm its origin. Once submitted, our team will review your application and notify you once it’s been approved.
You can apply to become a Verified Seller from your account. Open the menu, go to Account Details, and select Become a Verified Seller. You’ll be asked to submit a website or portfolio link so our team can review your work and business presence. The Verified Seller badge signals to buyers that your shop has been vetted and represents a trusted, established business on the platform. It’s a simple way to build confidence and stand out within the marketplace
You can manage all of your commissions directly from your dashboard. Open the Commissions section to view everything in one place. Here, you’ll find your pending requests as well as any approved or in-progress projects. You can review details, stay organized, and keep track of each commission from start to finish.
To submit an article, head to your dashboard and open Growth Tools. From there, select The Collective and choose Standard Article. You’ll be guided through a short submission where you can add your title, images, and article content. Once submitted, your article will go under review. If approved, you’ll be notified and prompted to complete payment. Your article will be published and go live once payment is received.
You can use your Growth Tools Center (found in your Dashboard) to "Boost" a listing or buy an article or spotlight feature spot on The Collective to tell your brand's story. You can also purchase more listings and buy verified badges for your listings here.
When a Designer sends you a commission request, you’ll see it in your Dashboard. You can chat with them to finalize the lead time, materials, and price before they officially hire you through the app. Once everything has been finalized and payment/deposit has been sent the project will move to in progress.
For Buyers
Because we facilitate sales for independent makers and vintage dealers, returns are generally not accepted. Please check the "Dimensions" section of every listing carefully.
You must inspect the item at the time of delivery. If there is damage, document it on the delivery receipt and contact GoShare within 48 hours.
Since our pieces are often one-of-a-kind or custom-made, the process starts with a Product Inquiry. Click the "Inquire about item" button on any listing to start a conversation with the seller. You can discuss local pickup or shipping details directly in the chat.
Because Sunday Morning features independent sellers and custom artisans, each shop sets its own return policy. We recommend asking the seller about their specific policy if they dont already have it listed in the details section of the product page.
